1.Do I need an air compressor to run this machine?
No. The KK-SmartStrip E is a purely electric wire stripping machine. Just plug it into a standard AC220V outlet and it works. No air compressor, no hoses, no air pressure adjustments.

2.What wire sizes can this machine strip?
It handles AWG 32 to AWG 12 (0.03 – 4 mm²). This includes very fine wires (like headphone or PCB jumpers) up to thicker wires (like appliance or automotive cables). Maximum outer diameter is 4.0 mm.

 
3.Do I need different blades for different wires?
No. The universal 90° V-blade works with all AWG32-12 wires. You do not need to change blades when switching between solid, stranded, PVC, rubber, or PUR insulation. One blade does it all.

4.What is the difference between full strip and partial strip (semi-strip)?
Full strip – Removes all insulation, exposing bare copper. Perfect for soldering, crimping, or terminal insertion.
Partial strip (sem-strip) – Cuts the insulation but leaves a small ring at the end. This prevents wire fraying and maintains insulation close to the connector. You can switch between modes instantly using Knob 2.
